Can you buy N.C. State Fair tickets at Food Lion?
Food Lion shoppers in North Carolina can now buy N.C. State Fair tickets along with their groceries.
Can you use a debit card at the N.C. State Fair?
For fairgoers, there will be these park and ride shuttles available. Park your car near Regal Cinemas at 1205 Timber Drive East in Garner. From 8:30 a.m. to midnight, on Thursdays through Sundays during the fair, a roundtrip ride costs $5. Only credit/debit cards are accepted.

All locations will accept cash, debit and credit cards. The convenience fee does not apply at walk-up locations.

The N.C. State Fair offers FREE off-site parking at the corner of Edwards Mill and Reedy Creek. With quick access to I-40 via Wade Avenue, this is the easiest lot to access as you make your way to the Fair! We will also provide FREE shuttles!

There is no size restriction as long as the bag is clear. Small purses or clutch bags no larger than 6.5″ x 4.5″ (approximately the size of a hand) with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium in addition to one of the clear plastic bags.

Yes, you can bring food and drinks with you. Just be aware that all baggage is subject to being searched at the gate for weapons, glass bottles, alcohol, drugs and other prohibited materials.
Does N.C. State Fair have bathrooms?
Changing tables are available in most restrooms, and family restrooms are available in the Martin and Expo buildings. There are “mothers'” rooms in the Scott, Martin, Expo and Graham buildings. The fairgrounds is already home to hundreds of events each year.
