Requirements
- Be a college graduate with at least a four-year degree or an in-service soldier with 2-10 years of military service.
- Officer Basic Leadership Course (Or Additional Special Courses/Qualifications)
- 21 or older.

How long is CID training?
16 weeks
Once selected to become a Special Agent with CID, Soldiers will attend 16 weeks of specialized training as part of the CID Special Agent Course at the U.S. Army Military Police School at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
