Is UCSD campus open to visitors?
Invited guests must: Complete a daily symptom and exposure screening (can be through your own employer). Must be fully vaccinated (or approved exception/deferral for UC employees). Adhere to all campus COVID-19 safety requirements, including the face covering policy.
Is USD open for visitors?
Individual campus visits typically last between 30-60 minutes. In person visits will be offered daily at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Virtual visits will be offered at 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. All visits are by appointment only.
Is UCSD doing in person tours?
These tours are very limited at this time. Tours are designed for students interested in applying, who have already applied or who have been newly accepted to UC San Diego. Due to space limitations, all visitors must register prior to their visit.

Can you visit UCSC campus?
Our campus tours are a completely outdoor experience (no classroom or student housing interiors). There are online waitlists available for full tours. Select the tour/s that you are interested in and you will see a message with instructions to join the waitlist.
Does UCSD require Covid vaccine?
The University of California requires all students, faculty and staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19 before they will be allowed on campus or in a facility or office. This includes completing initial vaccination doses as well as receiving a booster by Jan.
Is UCSD spring quarter in-person?
The University is planning for primarily in-person instruction. The exception is in place to allow courses that are approved for a course modality change from the Associate Vice Chancellor for Educational Innovation and the Undergraduate or Graduate Council to be offered remotely without an R-course designation.
