What is Chamazulene used for?

It is a versatile and gentle herb, effective as an antiviral and anti-infective. It also helps with infant colic, digestive upsets, and diarrhea. Several fractions including the essential oils, flavonoids, and sesquiterpene lactones contribute to chamomile’s medicinal activity.

Where does chamomile come from?

Chamomile, (Matricaria recutita) sometimes also referred to as German chamomile, is an herb that is native to Europe, Africa, and Asia, and is now also grown in North America. Chamomile has been used medicinally for thousands of years and was known by ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian cultures.
