Can you go on Fistral Beach during Boardmasters?
You’ll need a ticket to attend the festival at Watergate Bay. At Fistral Beach you’ll find the Boardmasters Open – our surf competition – plus our beach bar, shopping village and more. You don’t need a ticket for Fistral Beach.
Can you walk from Boardmasters to Newquay?
The distance between Newquay Station and Boardmasters Festival is 3 miles.
How much alcohol can I take to Boardmasters?
You are only permitted to bring either 24 cans of beer/lager and/or cider and/or alcopops per person OR 2 bottles of wine (which must be decanted from glass bottles) per person into the campsites. Such items may only be brought into the Venue on first entry.
What do the tiers mean Boardmasters?

Can you smoke cigarettes at Boardmasters?
Smoking in any indoor area is illegal and could result in you being fined. Camping: There is no option to camp at Fistral Beach. All Boardmasters camping is located alongside the Main Arena at Watergate Bay. Please head to the Campsites Information page for more info on camping at Boardmasters.
Can you buy alcohol in Boardmasters?
ALCOHOL RESTRICTIONS Alcohol is on sale at the event but you must be 18 or over to purchase. Bring ID, you will be asked each time you buy a drink. It is illegal to buy alcohol for another person who is under 18.
Is Boardmasters suitable for 16 year olds?
Persons’ aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years and above. The following age restrictions apply: 18 year olds can only accompany two under 16 year olds. 24 year olds can only accompany four under 16 year olds.
Are Boardmasters strict on alcohol?
Glass and spirits and alcoholic beverages with alcohol content which exceed 12% ABV are strictly prohibited.
