What is the difference between the RX100 series cameras?

The latest RX 100 VII packs a 24-200mm equivalent lens like its predecessor, offering better reach than older generation RX100 series cameras. Keep in mind, however, that this comes at the expense of slower maximum aperture – f/2.8-f/4.5 compared to f/1.8-f/2.8 seen on the previous III-VA models.

How good is the new Sony RX100 II in low light?

A new, back-illuminated 20MP sensor (the largest BSI chip we’ve yet encountered), gives a claimed 40% improvement in low-light sensitivity, which Sony says will allow the RX100 II to focus faster in low light than its predecessor, as well, of course, as producing cleaner high-ISO images.

Is the Sony RX-100 II better than the Fuji X20?

The consensus is that Sony have got the most into the least space that has been achieved up to now. It was recently commented that at a given ISO of 3200, a longer exposure was needed for the Sony RX-100 II than the Fuji x20 (1/8s vs 1/15s for roughly the same f-stop).

How many versions of the Sony RX100 have there been?

Since the original release of the Sony RX100 back in 2012, the company has been pushing updates to the camera and releasing one new iteration every year. This means that as of today, we have had a total of 8 such releases: RX100, RX100 II, RX100 III, RX100 IV, RX100 V, RX100 VA, RX100 VI, and RX100 VII.

How good is the Sony RX100 VII autofocus?

The Sony RX100 VII is the company’s latest pocketable 1″ sensor compact. It uses the same 24-200mm equivalent F2.8-4.5 lens as its predecessor but features a more capable, easier-to-use autofocus system.

What is the 0-60 time of a Yamaha RX100?

The RX100 was powered by an air-cooled, 98cc, single-cylinder motor that produced 11PS @ 7500rpm. The company also claimed a 0-60kmph time of 7.5 seconds. Its impeccable reliability and the affordability factor made the Yamaha RX100 a no brainer for enthusiasts back then.

Do You Shoot Your rx100iii without the strap?

The RX100 cameras pack a ton of precise moving parts in a small package and can’t be expected to survive without respectful handling. But neither will any other premium 1″ camera or flagship smartphone. I know that I never shoot my RX100iii without the strap! Other vendors make tough cameras that should survive better with a drop or three.
