How is Standard Development Fund calculated in Zimbabwe?

With a few exceptions, employers are required to pay 0.5% of their quarterly gross wage bill to the Standards Development Fund. The amount is payable on all payments made by the employer on behalf of the employee, including medical aid and pension contributions.

What is standards Levy?

This Act establishes the Standards Development Fund and grants powers to the Minister to impose a levy for purposes of the Fund. The Fund is established for purposes of financing the development and promotion of standardization and quality control of commodities and services.

Is there inheritance tax in Zimbabwe?

Inheritance/estate tax – Estate duty of 5% is levied on the value of worldwide assets of a deceased individual who was ordinarily resident in Zimbabwe. If the deceased was not ordinarily resident, estate duty is levied only on property within Zimbabwe.
