The Fairy Doll is not a well known ballet nor is its musical score in a class with Tchaikovsky`s masterpieces but, nevertheless, the music is very attractive — somewhat in the style of Adam. When I bought this CD I was so pleased with the music that I played it several times in a row before playing anything else — it’s that appealing.
