Are UGA placement tests online?
Depending on the exam, placement exams are either administered remotely or must be taken in-person. All exams have a 1 hour time limit but often do not require the whole hour.

A 26-question test administered during Orientation and at UTS is used to determine placement in mathematics courses. Students who score between 12 and 15 will exempt MATH 1101 (Mathematical Modeling) and may enroll in MATH 1113 (Pre-calculus).
How is accuplacer score calculated?
Accuplacer scores are determined by the total number of correct answers and the complexity of the questions. That is, the harder the question, the higher the point value. The exam is also adaptable. If a student correctly answers a question, the next question will be more difficult.
