Inline with long-term repayable Covid response funding from the UK Government to rugby in England, the WRU has now refinanced the £18m NatWest CLBILS funding with the Welsh Government, with the capital paid in instalments up until 2040. A new long-term repayment schedule has also been agreed with World Rugby.

What are we looking for in a rugby head coach?
We are currently looking for a head coach with a good rugby background and either a Level 2 or Level 3 coaching qualification. The Head coach will be primarily responsible for the senior playing squad, which consists of both a 1st and 2nd XV.

The Welsh Rugby Union recently undertook a comprehensive series of workshops for community coaches of every level and the results of the consultation process have formed the basis of the new approach to grassroots coaching in Wales.
