Can you make Erasers out of clay?
No, unfortunately normal clay and typical polymer clay will not work for forming erasers. Both of these materials harden completely when heated or dried, so they won’t maintain the proper rubbery texture needed for a pencil eraser. Eraser clay is specially formulated to dry only partially to create the right effect.
