How cold will a CoolBot get?
Typically, a CoolBot can get down to 32 degrees Fahrenheit on its coldest setting. Your system should also be able to go up to around 65 degrees on its warmest setting, so this should be able to suit a wide variety of temperature needs.

Can a CoolBot make a freezer?
No. Because of the design of the Air Conditioners that the °CoolBot works with, it is not possible to create an application for freezing temperatures. Additionally, the CoolBot can only be set to a minimum of 32°F (0°C) – we recommend setting the °CoolBot no lower than 34°F to avoid freezing up the coil of the A/C.

How long does it take for a CoolBot to work?
Important Considerations. The CoolBot can get most walk-in coolers down from ambient temperature to 45°F (7°C) in about 20 minutes. However, it can take longer (about another 30 minutes) to hit 40°F (4.4°C) and will take increasingly longer the farther you go down in temperature.
How do you adjust the temperature on a CoolBot?

Why is my CoolBot freezing up?
NOTE: If your unit is on the “FAN ONLY” mode or “OFF (but still plugged into the wall)” and keeps icing the fins, the compressor might be stuck on the ON position. Try resetting your A/C unit from the plug and run again in the FAN mode. If the problem persists your A/C needs repair.
Can you use CoolBot for a freezer?
The CoolBot and the air conditioners it works with are not designed to freeze. If you need to freeze, buy a freezer! If you plan to use your walk-in cooler through harsh winters, be sure to touch base with us on A/C selection.
