Where do you place Ricordea coral?

Most corallimorphs are good inhabitants for low light tanks but Ricordea Coral prefers moderate to high light conditions. In the wild they are typically found on the reef flats in shallow, strongly lit conditions. They may occasionally crawl to the sides of a rock if lighting grows too intense.

Do you feed Ricordea?

For maximum growth, it is best to feed your Ricordea regularly. Although you may find it a bit challenging to keep the food away from aggressively eating fish. You can, of course, target-feed your mushroom corals the same way you would your other corals.

Will Ricordea grow on sand?

It could be lack of flow.In a well fead tank they will get enough food. If foods not an issure then water quality or a disturbance from another coral or a change in the tank or change in water quality.

How do you acclimate Ricordea?

Personally I never drip I have a small acrylic cube that I fill with water from the bag and float it in the display tank to equal temp. Every 5 min or so I add some tank water to the cube and remove (and discard) some water out of the cube. After about 30-45 minutes I am ready to add it to the tank.
