You should start by setting aside a time to draw every day. This might be 30 minutes or it might be 4 hours(or more). The point is to stick with this time every single day to never avoid drawing. You might have some days where you can’t make the time because of an unforeseen circumstance.

Although it is said to be “one sketch a day” for those of us who don’t get around to journaling everyday, this book allows for a more flexible schedule and less pressure/guilt (for those who have such reactions…) The cover is more of a hunter green than the teal color it appears in the listing, but it is a nice contrast with the orange accents.
