How long will Waxoyl last?

Yes, Waxoyl Professional Hardwax and Waxoyl Professional 120-4 have a 2 year shelf life from the time of production. However, after the first two years product may still be satisfactory if the container remained sealed to prevent solvent evaporation.

Is Waxoyl a rust converter?

Waxoyl does provide anti rust treatment for cars and also stops rust on cars developing. Waxoyl is very effective at stoping rust and treating rust and provides a good anti rust coating. Car undersealing involves the use of underseal and other Waxoyl products.

Does Waxoyl make rust worse?

Yes, it stops new rust forming. It’s particularly good for inside doors and box sections. Like anything else, you have to prepare properly and apply it properly. It’s no good just slapping it on crusty surface rust as that’ll just fall off.

Is Waxoyl permanent?

waxoil doesnt kill rust. waxoil is a protective coating, which is used to prevent panels from rusting in the future. Providing a layer of protecting between the metal and the rain/grit etc.

To apply liquid or paste wax, all you do is rub it on and wipe it off (check the packaging, however, as some products are designed to be brushed on).

Setting the can in very hot water for a while prior to injecting or spraying works well too if you are looking for other ways to thin. Have fun, stay clean!

How long does Waxoyl take to set?

Once you’ve completed the application, Waxoyl should be dry to the touch in around 6 hours depending on the weather and temperature applied in. However, before you pack everything away, give the vehicle one last inspection to make sure you’ve not missed any patches of metal.

Does Waxoyl dry hard?

yes waxoyl never fully dries off, i’d not recommend using it in the arches if you plan on keeping them clean, pressure will take it off. best method will be some type of spray with a brush for edges.

I got sick of trying to warm Waxoyl up to a temperature where you could actually do something with it. Dynax is great because you can spray it on thick or thread the long nozzle into box sections. It stinks a bit though and tends to end up all over but it’s worth being able to use it in cold weather.
