How many times can you use Otovent?

The manufacturer recommends that people starting treatment with Otovent should use it at least 3 times a day with 1 inflation through each nostril on each occasion. After 1 week, it should be used at least twice a day.

When should you not use Otovent?

The Otovent should be used for around 2-3 weeks after which you, or your clinician, should assess whether the treatment is beneficial and symptoms have resolved. The otovent should not be used if you are experiencing significant ear pain when using the device; a heavy cold; nasal congestion; or an ear infection.
