What is the use of tablet Telma?

Telma 40 Tablet is a medicine used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure. Lowering blood pressure helps to prevent future heart attacks and strokes. This medicine is also effective in preserving kidney function in patients with diabetes.

Does Telma 40 reduce heart rate?

The effect of Telma 40 MG Tablet lasts for 24 hours. Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking Telma 40 MG Tablet as it may lower your blood pressure and can cause dizziness, lightheadedness, headache and/or changes in heart rate. No habit-forming tendency has been reported for Telma 40 MG Tablet.

What is the Telma?

Telma H Tablet contains two medicines, both of which help to control high blood pressure. It is generally used when one medicine alone is not controlling the blood pressure effectively. Lowering blood pressure helps to reduce your risk of having a heart attack or a stroke in the future.

Is Telma 40 Harmful?

Like all medicines, Telma 40 Tablet 30’s can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. You should consult a doctor if you experience side effects such as diarrhoea, sinus infection, back pain or low blood pressure.

Is Telma and Telma same?

A: Telma 40 tablet contains telmisartan whereas Telma H 40 tablet contains a combination of telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide. Both of which are used to treat high blood pressure but Telma H 40 tablet is mostly used when telmisartan alone cannot control the blood pressure.
