How is Q1 and Q2 decided in MotoGP?

Each rider’s time is calculated on the basis of the best laps they’ve had in the FP1, FP2, and FP3. The two fastest riders in Q1 are promoted to Q2, while the rest will start as of the 13th place on the grid.
