What is multi busbar?

The multi-busbars (MBB) approach aims to reduce resistive losses by reducing the amount of current that flows in both the fingers and the busbars.

What are solar busbars made of?

Solar busbars have one simple, yet significant purpose: they conduct the direct current produced by the solar cell from the incoming photons. Commonly, solar cell busbars are made of copper plated with silver.

PERC, which stands for Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell or Passivated Emitter and Rear Contact, is a new technology aimed to achieve higher energy conversion efficiency by adding a dielectric passivation layer on the rear of the cell.

What is half cell technology?

Essentially, Half-Cell technology is the process of cutting cells into half, reducing resistance so efficiency can increase. Traditional full cell panels with 60 or 72 cells produce resistance which can lower the panel’s ability to produce more power.

What is Halfcut solar?

A half-cut solar cell panel allocates twice the cells in the same area of a regular module. This means two times the arrays of solar cells within one module, with half-cut solar cells having half the width, keeping the area of the panel the same.

Half-cut solar cells are exactly what their name suggests – they are traditional silicon solar cells that have been cut in half using a laser cutter. Half-cut cells provide several benefits over traditional solar cells. Most importantly, half-cut solar cells offer improved performance and durability.

What is the difference between 5BB and 9BB solar panel?

The 9BB battery has more bus bars than the 5BB battery, which reduces internal resistance loss by narrowing the bus bar spacing. Due to the reduced bus bar area, the 9BB PV module will be able to reduce the current intensity between each cell, improving the efficiency of the PV module.
