Who makes Method Wheels?
The Californian-based company known as Method Race Wheels was founded way back in 2009, and it has since designed and produced, as its name implies, just about anything from cast, one-piece wheels for the street, to forged Beadlock wheels for desert racing and rock crawling.

What is bead grip technology?
WHAT IT IS: Patented Bead Grip® technology aims to be the bridge between a conventional street wheel and a beadlock, which is often not legal for highway use. Reducing air pressure in the tire increases traction and ride quality while on the trail.
Is method a good wheel?
Method Race Wheels are inexpensive and made in China. Despite that, they really are as good as people say they are. They’re light, strong, and durable. These aren’t just claims from the company either – it’s been proven in the real world time and time again.
Are Method Wheels cast or forged?
The Method Race Wheels 201 is a forged beadlock wheel that offers the ultimate in high strength materials. These wheels have the highest load capacities at the lowest weights. Made from 6061-T6 the 202 is forged with 12,000 metric tons of force making it the ultimate race wheel.
What is a beadlock wheel?
Beadlock wheels have an extra ring piece that fits along the perimeter of the wheel face. When installing, you slip the tire lip in between the bead and the bead lock ring and tighten with a series of heavy-duty bolts. By doing so, you lock the bead into place.
Do Method Wheels rust?
Yes its small but its rust on a couple month old wheels. We spend big bucks on wheels in hopes they last. These likely wont see a year. On a plus side I couldn’t be happier with how fast and helpful Discount Tire has been so kudos to them.
Can you drive on road with beadlocks?
Like any mechanical thing, beadlock wheels can fail, but with proper use and maintenance, they are pretty darn safe. Street driving any vehicle that hasn’t been properly maintained or that has been modified poorly is always dangerous. Most off-road race cars and trucks use some sort of beadlock wheels.
