What has replaced Movescount?
Movescount is closing, and we are transitioning our digital services to Suunto app. We have put together guidance for the watches impacted by these changes.
How do I transfer from Movescount to strava?
Connecting your Accounts
- Navigate to your Suunto app’s settings. On Android, select Settings > Account > Connect to other services.
- Connect to Strava.
- Accept that the Suunto app can connect to your Strava account.
- After your next workout is synced with the Suunto app it will be automatically transferred to Strava.
How do I transfer Movescount to Suunto app?
How to get started?
- Open Suunto app, and go to you user profile.
- Select “PARTNER SERVICES”
- Movescount should be there.
- Tap on “IMPORT EXERCISE HISTORY”
- Enter your Movescount email address and tap on “SEND VERIFICATION CODE”.
- Once you get the code, copy/paste it in the dedicated field and tap on “SIGN IN”.
What is Moveslink2?
What is Moveslink2? (from Suunto) Moveslink is a software that connects your Suunto device to Movescount. Select the device you want to use with Movescount, then download and install the version of Moveslink software.
Can you import data to Strava?
You can upload files directly to Strava via our file uploader found here: http://www.strava.com/upload/select. You can upload the following file types as long as the file is 25MB or smaller and contains workout data: GPX. TCX.

What is PTE on Suunto Ambit?
(Suunto call this “Peak Training Effect” or PTE.) EPOC. The Training Effect is based on estimation of EPOC (Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption). This EPOC is how much extra oxygen the body requires while recovering from strenuous exercise.
Can you upload old runs to Strava?
Log in to Strava.com and click the orange “plus” icon at the top-right of the screen. Choose “Upload Activity” and then “File” from the menu on the righthand side. After clicking “Choose files”, browse to the local folder where your files are saved, and select the files you wish to upload (up to 25 files at a time).

Moveslink2 synchronizes Suunto’s Ambit and Traverse sport watches to Movescount via USB. With it you can sync your progress, walking, hiking, running or other to your Movescount account and change your watch settings, create and plan new map routes and get those to your sport watch and use it to navigate the routes you created.
What are the installation filenames for moveslink?
