What is an RF battery?

‘RF’ stands for Radio Frequency, which means that the device is wireless and runs on batteries to keep it working.

What is RF transmitter?

An RF transmitter module is a small PCB sub-assembly capable of transmitting a radio wave and modulating that wave to carry data. Transmitter modules are usually implemented alongside a microcontroller which will provide data to the module which can be transmitted.

How does a RF transmitter work?

The RF transmitter receives serial data and transmits it wirelessly through through its RF antenna. The transmission occurs at the rate of 1 Kbps – 10 Kbps. RF receiver receives the transmitted data and it is operating at the same frequency as that of the transmitter.
