You can download this form at www.studentfinanceni.co.uk and return it with this application or contact us on 0300 100 0077 to have one sent to you. Please note that a current year income assessment cannot be carried out unless you provide your financial details for the 2019-20 tax year.
What is a PFF2 form?
PFF2 – assessment of financial circumstances for parents and partners of students in 2022 to 2023.
What evidence do I need to send off for student finance?
You don’t need to send any evidence of household income when you first apply. Your parents and partner can simply provide their income and National Insurance Number. Later in the process, you might be asked to provide evidence like payslips or P60s to prove your parents’ or partner’s income.

Can I upload the PFF2 form online?
If you and your partner are both supporting an application, your partner will also need to create or sign in to their own separate online account. If you don’t get an email from us or cannot link to the student’s account online you’ll need to upload a PFF2 form through your online account instead.
How long does it take to process a PFF2 form?
It’s currently taking around 25 working days to process PFF2’s. The workflow we provide is an expected date; the dates can fluctuate depending on the volume of applications and evidence received.
Do Student Finance Ask for evidence?
If you attend uni or college and apply for student finance, you’ll probably be asked to give us some evidence to help us work out how much you can get.
