What happened to Ahn Qiraj?
After the Gates of Ahn’Qiraj were shattered, and the qiraji poured forth. The combined forces of the Horde and the Alliance, with High Overlord Varok Saurfang as their Supreme Commander, had to stop the qiraji before they could overrun Silithus and eventually Kalimdor.

The Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj is an outdoor 20-player raid dungeon located in Silithus, and players can traverse much of it while mounted. No attunement is required to enter this raid dungeon, but your realm must have completed the War Effort and the quest “Bang a Gong!” for players to gain access.

How do I get to the AQ40?
The easiest way to get to The Temple of Ahn’Qiraj (AQ40) is to fly to Cenarion Hold in Silithus. From there, travel way down south until you see the Scarab Wall, the outside entrance to Ahn’Qiraj. You’ll come to a crossroads: turn to the right and ride up the stairs that lead to the entrance of AQ40.
