What is an isolator row?
The Isolator Row is a row or rows of StormTech thermoplastic chambers that are wrapped in filter fabric and installed below grade. Stormwater enters the chambers and must pass through the filter fabric media where sediments and other contaminants are filtered out as stormwater exits the Isolator Row through the fabric.
How does a water retention system work?
The system works by allowing a large collection area, or basin, for the water. The water then slowly drains out through the outlet at the bottom of the structure. Sometimes concrete blocks and other structures act as a deterrent to slow the water flow and collect extra debris.
What is an R tank?
R-TankĀ® is a scalable underground detention system. The system features a 95% void internal capacity to capture stormwater. Once filled with stormwater, R-TankĀ® can route stormwater to the drainage system, recycle stormwater for irrigation or infiltrate it into the ground.

CULTEC, Inc.’s chambers may used in residential applications to control rainwater collected from gutters and/or catch basins. The chambers collect and store the stormwater underground until the soil is able to accept it back into the ground.

How does a Cultec chamber work?
