How do I download core Temp?

You can download Core Temp Gadget and CoreTempMC from the Add Ons page. CoreTempMC is a Windows Media Center add-on for Windows 7 and Vista.

Checking your CPU temperature is as easy as installing and using monitoring software and then reading the value. There are multiple programs to choose from, with the best tools for checking CPU temperature, including Core Temp (opens in new tab), NZXT’s CAM (opens in new tab), AIDA64, HWiINFO, or HWMonitor.

Is Core Temp the same as CPU Temp?

Any higher than this and the performance will begin to decrease due to “Thermal Throttling,” a safety measure implemented in most computer hardware which reduces clock speeds to decrease temperature to safe levels.

Is 95c too hot for CPU laptop?

Even though the CPU is hitting 95c, sometimes that heat from the CPU causes the GPU to get hotter too. But 80-85 seems a tad high for me. You might also look at using MSI Afterburner and plot a new voltage/frequency curve to reduce the temps on the GPU, whilst allowing some high boost speeds.
