Is JLPT N3 easy?
The easiest level is N5 and the most difficult level is N1. N4 and N5 measure the level of understanding of basic Japanese mainly learned in class. N1and N2 measure the level of understanding of Japanese used in a broad range of scenes in actual everyday life. N3 is a bridging level between N1/N2 and N4/N5.
How hard is JLPT N3?
The JLPT N3 is the midway point to complete fluency. This stage of learning the language can be very frustrating because you will be able to understand at least 50% of every conversation, but you won’t be able to completely understand.

Can you get a job with JLPT N3? You may be able to get a job with the JLPT N3, but it is not guaranteed. Having this achievement on a resume will look good to potential employers, however, most prefer or require N2 or N1 levels of understanding.
Is Tobira enough for JLPT N3?
Tobira should be enough to get you to N3 level but if you are still not confident you can always use something like Shin Kanzen Master N3 to make sure you are at N3 level.

How many kanji does the JLPT N3 exam cover?

How do I study for the N3?
Study N3 as if it is N2, that is study more kanji, more grammar, more vocab and expect surprise on test day when you open that test. At the end of each study session always review your new vocabulary, talk them into a cassette or into an mp3 player. You have seen the words but you need to make them real.
