Does OHSU use MyChart?
As an innovator in health care, OHSU provides you access to your OHSU medical record whenever you want and wherever you are. With MyChart, you can get information privately and efficiently. MyChart gives you easy online access to your lab test results and medical history at OHSU.
How do I find my chart app?
To get the app, you need an iPhone®, iPadtm, or iPod touch®. From one of those devices, go to the App Store application and install “Epic MyChart”. From and Android device, go to the Market application and search for “Epic MyChart”.
Is the MyChart app safe?
Yes. myChart is secure, which means your information is safe and protected. We follow strict federal and state confidentiality laws and have the highest security measures in place to protect the privacy of your information. Access to information is controlled with usernames and passwords.
How do I add a child to MyChart epic?
To sign up for a teen MyChart account, click Sign Up Now. To request parent/guardian proxy access to your teen’s MyChart account, log in to your own MyChart account and complete the online record authorization form. You can find the form under the Share My Record submenu.
Can a doctor give information to your spouse?
Yes. The HIPAA Privacy Rule at 45 CFR 164.510(b) specifically permits covered entities to share information that is directly relevant to the involvement of a spouse, family members, friends, or other persons identified by a patient, in the patient’s care or payment for health care.
Can you have 2 MyChart accounts?
If you decline consent to share your information with affiliated partners, you will have multiple MyChart accounts: one for each organization, each with its own username and password. You will need to sign in to the specific MyChart account in order to view your information for that organization.
How do I link my child’s MyChart to mine?
To set up proxy access to your child’s medical record, please submit the request directly from your MyChart account….For Children Under the Age of 14
- Go to Messages > Request Family Access.
- Read and accept the proxy access terms and conditions.
- Submit the “Minor” proxy request form.
Can I use MyChart on laptop?
You now have the option of secure, private video visits with your Riverside Medical Group physician or advanced practice provider through MyChart using your laptop or computer. If you are interested in this option, contact your provider’s office or call 757-534-5352.
