What training does the Navy go through?

Your training will include physical fitness, seamanship, firearms, firefighting and shipboard damage control, and lessons in our heritage and core values, teamwork, and discipline. Your training will be challenging but highly rewarding.

How long does basic training last in the Navy?

In total, Navy basic training lasts for eight weeks. The first week is mainly processing, so it’s nothing too physically intense.

How do you get to the Deep Sea Research Center in ff8?

The Deep Sea Research Center is not located on the map but you can find it by flying down to the lower left corner of the map (over the water). Enter the Deep Sea Research Center and be prepared to fight. You need to reach the center of the room (the core) by slowly walking towards it.

General quarters, battle stations, or action stations is an announcement made aboard a naval warship to signal that all hands (everyone available) aboard a ship must go to battle stations (the positions they are to assume when the vessel is in combat) as quickly as possible.

Can you fail boot camp Navy?

​Yes, it is possible to fail basic training. You could go through the trouble of leaving your home, job, family and friends and come back a failure. In fact, this happens to about 15% of recruits who join the military every year. Too many recruits I speak to think that it is impossible to fail basic training.

What happens if you fail battle stations?

If a recruit does fail Battle Stations they will be cycled into another division where they will get the opportunity to take the test again.

Why do they shave your head in basic training?

Originally, one of the reasons for the induction haircut was to reduce the chances of disease among closely quartered recruits from different geographical areas (with varying immunities), such as head lice. Furthermore, short hair also prevents the enemy from grabbing a soldier with long hair and slashing his/her neck.
