What is basalt concrete?

Basalt rebar reinforcement is an alternative to steel and fiberglass for reinforcing concrete. Made from volcanic rock, basalt rebar is tougher and stronger than steel with a higher tensile strength. Basalt rebar is much lighter than steel rebar making it easier to work with and so much cheaper to ship!
