How does SMC disburse Financial Aid?

Once an award has been posted on the Financial Aid portal screen, the processing for that disbursement takes approximately 7 to 10 days. The first computer disbursement will be during the first week of the fall and spring terms. The actual check will be mailed 7 to 10 days later.
