What is an iClicker used for?
iClicker is a classroom interactive response system that allows students to participate in polls and answer questions during class. Students can respond with a physical iClicker remote or their mobile device using the Student iClicker app (if enabled). iClicker offers two options for offering polls in your classroom.
Can iClicker be used from home?
Yes. iClicker Cloud supports the use of mobile devices and laptops in your class. iClicker Cloud allows for students to participate using mobile devices and laptops by default. If you are using iClicker Classic, you must enable the use of mobile devices and laptops in your course settings.
How do you connect iClicker to base?
Connect to the Base Station
- Connect the Standard B side of the cable to the Base Station.
- Next, connect the A side of the cable to your computer’s USB port. The base station will turn on when your computer is turned on.
- Open the iClicker software and click on the correct course.
How do I connect my iClicker?

Why is my iClicker not working?
Try to install the latest version of iClicker Student through the app store (in case your phone isn’t set to automatically update apps), or try deleting/uninstalling the app and reinstalling it. Log out of the iClicker student app and log back in again. Restart your phone or computer. Try clearing your cache.

Is iClicker free?
Creating an iClicker student account is free. Upon creating an account, students have a 14-day free trial period to use the iClicker student app to participate in class.
Do you have to be in the room for iClicker to work?
No problem. iClicker Attendance can run with no location required. Set it and forget it: you can schedule Attendance to auto-run during each class time. Students can conveniently check in for free via their mobile phones or via their web browser.
Does iClicker cost money?
There is no additional fee for participating in iClicker activities in Achieve courses.
