How do I update my Echo smartpen?
Updating Your Smartpen Software
- In the Livescribe Starter Notebook or the WiFi sticker sheets, tap the Software Update paper button. The smartpen screen indicates whether there is a new update available. If there is one, the smartpen downloads and installs it.
- After the update is installed, your smartpen will restart.

Livescribe dot paper uses standard paper printed with a unique pattern of dots that allows your smartpen to capture the exact location of everything it writes or draws. Livescribe smartpens only work with Livescribe dot paper.
Can I use Echo Dot as a microphone for my computer?
No, You can’t currently feed the Amazon Echo Dot microphone to the PC, but you can send your own custom Alexa skill (text) to your computer but that isn’t the same as the audio signal you want. You also must use Bluetooth to connect Echo to a computer PC.
Can I use Alexa for zoom calls?
You can ask Alexa to join a meeting by saying “Alexa, join my Zoom meeting” and Alexa will ask you for the meeting ID and passcode. If Alexa cannot determine your meeting ID and passcode after one attempt, the Zoom for Home app will open and you can manually join your meeting from the controller.
Can you use Echo Dot without Amazon?
You can absolutely use a all of the Echo products, including but not limited to, the Echo, Echo Dot, and Echo Show without purchasing a Prime membership.
Can multiple people talk to Alexa?
If you want more than one person to use the same Alexa-enabled device, you can add multiple accounts by setting up an Amazon Household. Family members must have their own Amazon account, but once you’ve set up everything, you can jump from one account to another just by talking to Alexa.
Can you do a 3 way call on Alexa?
To start with, you’ll need to put the contacts you want to call at the same time into a calling group in the Alexa app. Open the app and select ‘Communicate’ from the bottom of the screen. Now tap the person icon in the top right-hand corner, followed by ‘Add New’. From the options display, choose ‘Add Group’.
