‘Koorong’, like many place names across Australia, is an Indigenous word. For the Kulin Nation clans in Victoria ‘Koorong’ is the Woiwurrung word for ‘canoe’. We also believe it is used to describe a ‘waterhole’ or ‘oasis’. We love the thought of being an ‘oasis’ to our customers!
