Do you have to pay to join the Ramblers?
There is no charge for walks. The Northumbria Walking Group is part of the Ramblers Association so to join us you must first join them and state you wish to join Northumbria Walking Group as your Local Group in the appropriate box.

Does my organisation need public liability Insurance? A: No. An informal walk is not an organised led walk. You wouldn’t get public liability insurance to go for a walk with your family.

All community groups that deal with members of the public should consider taking out public liability insurance. It is a relatively inexpensive cover and protects against allegations of injury caused to a third party.
