Can you wear jeans to the Signature Room?
Thank you for not wearing hats, athleticwear, shorts, ripped/torn jeans, excessively revealing clothing, exposed undergarments, or any clothing with offensive language/images or that emits an offensive odor. Athletic shoes, flip flops or beach shoes are not permitted. Jackets & ties are optional.

Every city has a building with great views and Chicago’s most famous is the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower. But a little Chicago secret is that the John Hancock building has better views and their Signature Lounge on the 96th floor has free admission so you can enjoy a cocktail while you take in the sights!

How much does it cost to go to the top of the John Hancock building?
It is also located on the 94th floor. Therefore the cost to get the views and “ride” the Tilt is $26 per adult, $20 children 3-11 and 2 and under free. Before you invest in this “experience” check the website to see if it’s operating.
Do you have to pay to go to Bar 94?
We have a bar and cafe called BAR 94 on the north side of the observation deck. Access to BAR 94 is included with every ticket. There are no reservations needed, no dress code, and no drink minimum. BAR 94 is the highest bar with a full 360-degree view in Chicago.
Is there a restaurant at the top of the Willis Tower?
Skydeck Chicago’s Restaurant in the Clouds Skydeck Chicago has a restaurant service for dinner. With incredible views 1,353 feet in the air, dining at Skydeck can make any occasion memorable.
Does the Walnut Room have a dress code?
Attire is Business Casual so join us during the week or on weekends.

Admission is $19 adult, $13 children 3-11 and 2 and under free. Lines can be very long. The Tilt is an experience where you stand in a glass box and it “tilts” outward and downward, 30 degrees, toward the street.

Why is it called the Walnut Room?
Opened in 1907 as the South Tea Room, it became known as the Walnut Room with its beautiful Circassian walnut paneling and Austrian crystal chandeliers. By 1937 it was officially named The Walnut Room. In this spot each year, the iconic 45-foot Great Tree appears from November to early January.
