What are the levels of RAD?
The Grades are:
- Pre-Primary – 5 years and over.
- Primary – 5 years and over.
- Grade 1 – 6 years and over.
- Grade 2 – 7 years and over.
- Grade 3 – 8 years and over.
- Grade 4 – 9 years and over.
- Grade 5 – 10 years and over.
- Grade 6 – 13 years and over.
What is a RAD class award?
The RAD class Award is a supported form of the same examination material. It is marked in a less formal manner and the class teacher is present. Ballet teachers will generally not enter students for an examination if they believe the student will not meet the technical standard required to pass the exam.
What RAD grade is pointe?
Also at grade 6, as with grade 5, there is basic pointework, which is not examined, Students are assessed by the class teacher before they can go on pointe. The Grade 6 exam has the required minimum QCA points that can be included when applying for university.
How many rads per year is safe?
5,000 Millirems
Adult: 5,000 Millirems. The current federal occupational limit of exposure per year for an adult (the limit for a worker using radiation) is “as low as reasonably achievable; however, not to exceed 5,000 millirems” above the 300+ millirems of natural sources of radiation and any medical radiation.
How are RAD exams graded?
For RAD graded exams, candidates will have an overall mark of Pass, Merit or Distinction and will receive a bronze, silver or gold medal accordingly; for the RAD Class Award candidates recieve a Pass and an enamel medal. The exams are now SQA accreditted and Higher or Vocational Grades also carry UCAS points.
