You can climb any time of year, but know you’ll likely run into snow and will need appropriate gear and skills. An “icy 5.4” is no longer a 5.4. We climbed on August 4-6 and saw no snow on the route. Conditions vary each year, so check with the ranger station on conditions before you go.
