Does the Redding Competition Seating Die Crimp?

New member. The seating die with support chamber CANNOT crimp as the moving portion only holds the cartridge and is of aluminum. So simple enough as the die is.. it will hold the cartridge securely and then u can seat bullet.

How far from the lands should a bullet be seated?

.035 inch to .015 inch
