Does NTTA work with TxTag?
Yes, the sticker version of the NTTA TollTag will work as a payment method on all KTA and OTA toll roads. Discounted KTA and/or OTA tolls will automatically be deducted from the TollTag members’ account balance.
Will TxTag work on EZ TAG?
Yes. All Harris County operated toll road lanes designated with an EZ TAG-ONLY sign will also accept your TxTag or NTTA TollTag for payment, provided your account is in good standing and the vehicle’s license plate is registered with your tag. Valid toll tags will be charged the EZ TAG rate where applicable.
Do I owe Texas tolls?
To check if you owe a toll in Texas, visit the website of the authority whose toll you have missed. In their pay missed toll page, there is an option to look for the due tolls using license plate number. You can visit the tolling agencies below: North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) or TollTag.
Does NTTA cover all of Texas?
A TollTag cannot be used anywhere else in the state. A NTTA TollTag works on all other Texas toll roads. The same process applies—toll payment is automatically deducted from a user’s account each time their vehicle passes under a toll gantry.
Does NTTA work in other states?
No. Technology in the older hard-case TollTag is not compatible with the tolling systems in other states. Only the sticker Tollag will work on toll roads in these two states and provide TollTag members with the same discounted rate K-TAG and PIKEPASS customers receive.
What states honor TxTag?
Mobility Authority: TxTag will work on toll roads in Florida, Georgia and Carolinas next year. Texas toll transponders will be compatible with tolling systems in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina in 2018, according to the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority.
