Is MEPS a 2 day process?
For most applicants, the initial trip to MEPS is a two-day process. On the afternoon of arrival, the applicant takes the computerized Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) tests. If you’ve taken the ASVAB within 24 months of your MEPS trip and received qualifying scores, you won’t be required to retest.

Can my family go to MEPS with me?
Your parents/guardians are allowed to accompany you to MEPS but are not allowed in the area where the processing and examinations take place. During the Oath of Enlistment ceremony, parents, family, and guests are welcomed to watch and take pictures.
Do you get paid for MEPS?
When Do I Get Paid? You’re in the military and entitled to receive military pay at the time you take the final oath at MEPS. However, don’t expect anyone to hand you any money yet.
Do I have to drive to MEPS?
If you take the Shuttle to the hotel you will also take the shuttle to MEPS. Once you complete your testing or physical you will wait at MEPS until everyone using the shuttle has completed their testing and/or physical. Shuttle will pick you up and drop you off here or you can Drive yourself.
