How much is federal paid parental leave?

FEPLA amended the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) (5 U.S.C. ยง 6382(d)) to allow the use of up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave granted in connection with the birth of an employee’s child or the placement of a child with an employee for adoption or foster care.

What can you use paid parental leave for?
