What is 126b BGB?

126b German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch, BGB), is the simplest statutory form of laying down textual declarations. It is merely required that the declaration is made legibly in characters. Such declaration can therefore also be made by email and does not require a signature.
