Where is Google Allo?

Google Allo was an instant messaging mobile app by Google for the Android and iOS mobile operating systems, with a web client available on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Opera. It closed on March 12, 2019.

When was Spotify launched?

Spotify launched in the United States in July 2011, and offered a six-month, ad-supported trial period, during which new users could listen to an unlimited amount of music for free. Google Allo failed to take off because of core features The cloud-based, encrypted messaging service had a lot going for it. It was end-to-end encrypted and even offered an Incognito mode for chats which would delete messages after a short time.

Is Allo still supported?

In December 2018, Google announced they would end support for Allo in March 2019. A final update to the app allowed users to export chat messages from Allo. The Allo service shut down completely on March 14, 2019, with its homepage recommending users to try Google’s Messages app as an alternative.

Is Yik Yak still available?

On April 28, 2017, Yik Yak announced it would be shutting down. The declining popularity of the app had become very noticeable, and the app ceased to function as of May 5, 2017. In February 2021, an unnamed team purchased the rights to the YikYak brand from Block, Inc.
