“If you’re an electric guitar playing singer then the Play Electric effects processor by TC HELICON is exactly what you need.

Does TC Helicon acoustic play have phantom power?

The Play Acoustic also has up-to-date USB connectivity and phantom power, offering additional flexibility.

Does TC Helicon have compression?

I’m currently using a TC Helicon VoiceLive, which has built in digital effects for vocals, including reverb, pitch correction, harmonies, compression, and EQing.

Can a switch 6 be used with Play Acoustic?

We do support Switch6 on Play Acoustic, but not on Play.

Where is TC Helicon made?

Based in Victoria, Canada, our company is known worldwide for its team of musicians and developers who spend every moment of their working lives listening, talking, singing and interacting with singers and those who share the passion for the singing voice.

Is the VoiceLive play GTX worth the money?

As for the guitar processing part, although the VoiceLive Play GTX has a nice range of sounds, it’s probably fair to describe it as rudimentary, in so far as you can only change sounds within a song by changing presets. That said, the extra £80 over the basic vocal-only version is not a bad price to pay for access to these guitar sounds.

Does TC-Helicon’s new VoiceLive play GTX give guitar and voice effects together?

If so, TC-Helicon thinks it has exactly what you need in the new VoiceLive Play GTX: a floor pedal that provides effects for both guitar and voice. Building on the strengths of the VoiceLive Play unit, which has been available to singers for some time, the new GTX version adds guitar effects and amp simulation to the mix.

What do you think about the Voicelive 3?

The ability to use with an electric guitar with all kinds of presets, the different available outputs, longer and easier looping (if you like that sort of thing), etc., were all reasons for me to go with the Voicelive 3. They will take a little bit lower offer than the price they’ve got listed which isn’t a lot more than a play acoustic.
