What happens if you inhale floral foam?

When dry, floral foam breaks down in to dust that is labelled harmful to the skin, and if inhaled, harmful to your respiratory system. Florists work with this material daily, and it’s essentially a carcinogen. Completely toxic, and we have no idea about the long term health implications of working with it.

Why won’t my floral foam soak?

Forcing water into the foam creates air pockets resulting in the foam not soaking through properly which will cause flowers to become prematurely dehydrated and die. Instead, gently place the floral foam on top of the water and let it soak naturally.
