What are Q-Snap frames?
Q-Snaps are a brand of snap frames. They are rectangular, plastic frames that utilize C-shaped plastic clamps to hold your fabric taut onto the frame.
How does Q-snap frame work?
You mount your fabric on the Q-Snap frame about the same way you do a hoop – laying the inside frame part down first, placing your fabric over it, and then snapping the outside half-circle plastic snaps over the fabric. Then, you “roll” the snaps outwards, to establish the amount of tension you want on your fabric.
What sizes do Q-snap frames come in?
There are Two Styles of Q-Snap Sizes range from 6″x6″ to 20″x20″. There is also the larger Floor Model. This is a 24″ x 36″ floor frame, with the ability for add an extension that doubles the size.
Are Q-Snap frames interchangeable?
All parts of Q-Snaps are interchangeable within the brand. You can create custom sizes such as 8×11 by purchasing an 8×8 package and an 11×11 package and putting them together. Don’t try to combine Q-Snap pieces with “off-brand” or other similar types of frames. They will not work together.
How do you tighten AQ snap?
