What does Nedic stand for?

NEDIC stands for the National Eating Disorder Information Centre.

What is the number one most common eating disorder?

Binge eating disorder is the most common eating disorder in the U.S., according to the National Eating Disorders Association. It’s characterized by episodes of eating large amounts of food, often quickly and to the point of discomfort.

Is ARFID a form of OCD?

ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder) is one such eating disorder diagnosis we see a lot of crossover with OCD behaviors and symptoms. Those struggling with ARFID have an intense lack of interest or aversion to food as well as extreme sensitivities around eating.
