Rawnsley Park is 35km north of Hawker on the Hawker to Wilpena Road. That road is sealed all the way from Hawker to Wilpena Pound. Rawnsley Park is a well signposted turn off, and their 3 km access road into Rawnsley Park is unsealed but well made.
Can you drive into Wilpena Pound?
There is a 4 kilometre, 90 minute walk to Old Wilpena Station from Wilpena Pound or you can drive there. The site is quite spread out but easy to get around. You can book 2 hour Aboriginal guided walks of the station at the Wilpena Pound Resort.
