TrackIR is a head tracking input device designed for use with gaming and simulation PC titles. It is an infrared camera that tracks the position and orientation of your head, and then sends that data to over 100 TrackIR enhanced games and simulations.
How does Headtracking work?
In head tracking technology, the user’s face and head movements are tracked by capturing raw data via cameras, or it may require special equipment to be worn on the head to capture the movements. The facial features are recognized separately.
Does TrackIR work with American Truck Simulator?
No the TrackIR software does all the game detection. Just make sure the trackir software and game list is up to date. Make sure the correct tracking clip is selected in Basic Settings. Start TrackIR, left side green led should be on which indicates the clip is being tracked.

It is high time to implement TrackIR in upcoming FORZA titles (even MS FS2020 is officially supporting it now).
